Introduction

Hello, I'm Easygoing.

It’s been about a year since I started using note, and in this post, I’d like to compare my past and present AI-generated illustrations.

Documenting What I’ve Learned with AI Image Generation

I wrote my first note post on July 9, 2024.

At the time, I was completely hooked on AI image generation and started note to document what I was learning.

When studying alone, I tended to skim through research casually, but writing for note’s audience pushed me to dig deeper into questions until I was satisfied with the answers.

Continuing note Helps Establish Your Style

AI image generation offers countless variations, and each person’s approach to expression is unique.

By consistently posting on note, I’ve been able to reflect on my art style and thought process, gradually establishing my own style.

AI image generation is a deep field, and exploring ways to let AI create freely or prioritize image quality while optimizing speed remains a major theme in my journey with AI-generated art.

note Becomes Your Digital Business Card

A few months after starting note, I realized that note had become my digital business card.

When introducing my ideas to someone new, sharing my note posts is the fastest way to help them understand my perspective.

Unlike other blog platforms cluttered with ads, which can leave a negative impression on first-time readers, note is a clean, ad-free platform, making it welcoming and appealing to new audiences.

By continuing to post on note, I’ve felt my illustration worldview gradually take shape, and I now see note as my digital hometown.

note Expands Your World

note is a platform that broadens your horizons.

When sharing information about AI image generation, technical details are well-suited for platforms like Qiita or Zenn, while illustration-focused posts fit sites like Chichi-pui or AI Pictors.

However, these platforms are specialized, so their audiences are often limited to those already interested in those fields.

note, originally a platform for written content like novels, supports high-quality illustrations with unlimited storage, making it ideal for creative work involving images.

Recently, I’ve gained followers who don’t use AI image generation, and through these new connections, I’ve started exploring genres I wouldn’t have read before, truly feeling my world expand.

Comparing Past and Present Illustrations!

Now, let’s revisit the first story I created on note, comparing the original illustrations with those redrawn using the latest model.

I hope you’ll enjoy seeing how I’ve worked to carry forward the worldview while experimenting with technical improvements.

[Short Story] Departure

The spaceport of the near future was a place where cutting-edge technology and human dreams converged. Inside a massive dome-shaped facility, countless silver spaceships were docked, preparing for departures to various destinations. Electronic billboards displayed flight information in rapid succession as passengers bustled about.

At one corner of the spaceport stood a young woman named Ada. She was heading toward her spaceship, her heart racing with excitement for a new adventure. Since childhood, Ada had dreamed of the stars, and today was the day she would finally make that dream a reality.

Ada’s spaceship, Starlight, was a state-of-the-art exploration vessel designed for uncharted planets. She boarded the ship and settled into the cockpit. The instruments glowed, and the low hum of the engines filled the air as she took a deep breath to steady herself.

Starlight, ready for departure. Destination: Andromeda Galaxy. Launch approved,” came the calm voice of the control officer over the radio.

Ada pushed the throttle, and the spaceship lifted off slowly. The massive dome’s ceiling opened, revealing the infinite expanse of space. Toward the twinkling stars on a black canvas, Starlight accelerated.
